Carlos Carulo was impacted by the film Avatar, it was incredible how James Cameron created a whole fictional world. It made the artist wonder how he could put these little Artifactos in a world so that they would be given more personality?
“Avatars are visual worlds that I have created for my Artefactos Paintings. In these worlds the Artefactos interact with one another creating a space or landscape where they can thrive and organize themselves.”
